- Open File Explorer.
- Right click on either Desktop or Documents on the left side.
- Once the folder menu opens, choose "Show more options" at the bottom of the menu.
- On the next menu, choose to "Connect to Egnyte..."
- This will open the Egnyte Desktop App, allowing you to choose where you would like this folder to sync and backup. You can choose "Add New Folder" in the bottom left corner to create a Documents or Desktop Folder.
- Once the folder is created, click Connect and allow the folder to sync to Egnyte.
- Repeat the process until all folders you choose are connected.
**Disclaimer: DO NOT sync Downloads folder. This will cause issues down the line and fill your allocated storage very quickly.**
